Half...th? Halfth day of school? Orientation and stuff.

I just came back from McDonald's which is about a 20 minute walk from here. Ate a bulgogi burger. It's only like $4.50 for a meal and it's so delicious.

Orientation
Today was our orientation for school. The day started off like a regular school day. I think my alarm went off and continued to go off for ten minutes. I knew something was making noise, but I didn't know what the fuck it was. So, I kept sleeping. Then, I finally realize that it was my fucking alarm that was going off. I got up, showered and got ready. Right when I was going to leave the damn room, I couldn't find my wallet. I freaked out because I thought I fucking lost it the night before or something...come to find out that it was hiding behind my stupid curtains. So I got to the orientation and it was nothing but a loooooong presentation. I mean, it was kinda cool and all, but I didn't expect orientation to be such a long presentation. Also, we were all supposed to get mentors today, but that failed because I didn't get mine. Apparently, I was one of the few people who's mentors didn't want to come to the damn orientation. So while everyone was off hanging out with their mentors, I was cruising in my room. Oh well, I got to catch up with Phil during that time, so it's okay. Love you, Phil.

Myeongdong
Davyn calls this place Mingding. He calls Dunkin' Donuts, Dinkin' n' Dinkin's...he says he doesn't know why. By the way, Davyn's my roommate. He came back at around 2PM and we didn't know what to do. I wanted to check out some kinda shopping district and he said Myeongdong is a pretty good. We decided to contact some people and Hyejin said she'd come. Our friend Joon said he'd come too, but I didn't realize he told me he'd meet me there. My bad, bro. We jumped on the subway and caught a train to Myeongdong and HOLY SHIT, it was so fucking hot AND humid. It was nasty. We met up with Hyejin and then went to Starbucks. Shitty thing about Korean Starbucks is that it's the most expensive coffee in Korea. The venti black iced tea back home is pretty cheap, about three bucks or so. Here, it's around $5 for the same and it's a little smaller. Failboat. We did some catching up with her and moved on to Forever21 where Davyn and I did some clothes shopping in the men's section. They had 7000 Won v-necks on sale so I bought one for later. It looks pretty nice, it's a bluish, tealish color. We shopped around and went to some places like ABC Mart which is actually the biggest shoe store in Korea. This one wasn't big, but the business itself is huge. Davyn found shoes he liked and he was gonna pick up a pair, but they didn't have his size. After more walking around, poking our noses into shops here and there, we decided to eat dinner. We ate jjim dalk which means steamed chicken I think. It looks like stir-fried vegetables and chicken. It tasted delicious. I'll post up a pic later. I'll post up pics that are relevant to this here and most of the other ones I took on my Facebook. We ate, then decided to go back home.

Wangsimni Plaza
Davyn wanted to check out Wangsimni Plaza again before we went home for the shoes he wanted because they have an ABC Mart too. We actually came here before to go to E Mart which is basically like a supermarket and and a department store combined. Pretty cool. We bought most of our necessities there a couple days ago. We wandered around the huge ass shopping mall for a bit afterwards and decided to hit up E Mart again for some water. What's funny is we ended up not even buying water. I bought a Hite Dry Finish, which is pretty damn delicious. Davyn bought a commemorative Bacardi Superior set that came in a cool box and even came with a bottle of Coca-Cola. On the way home, we saw the arcade near our school and decided to hit it up. I finished drinking the beer I bought (yeah, I was drinking out on the streets because its totally allowed here), killed my cigarette, and jumped on a Tekken 6 machine. These guys knew what they were doing, but the way they played just irritated me and had me laughing at myself. The shit I would get caught by was fucking stupid. I played a guy that played Law and spammed all kinds of lows and jabs. I beat him and then his friend jumped on with Armor King and would not stop spamming fucking sweeps. I blocked most of them and just punished him, but just his playstyle in general irritated the shit out of me. After that, we cruised around in our room after walking home and decided to go to McDonald's to get bulgogi burgers. Fucking delicious. That's it for today, I'll post some pictures up soon.
